In some electronic measuring instruments, devices or products, there is often a need to measure the DC current in the circuit, so researchers have developed a variety of current sensing integrated circuits. It is an I/V converter that converts the measured current into a corresponding voltage, V = kI, where k is the proportionality constant. In addition, in some electronic products, the output current should be limited to prevent overcurrent caused by faults (partial short circuit of the load or short circuit of the output terminal, increase of the output voltage of the power supply, etc.) and cause greater loss. When an overcurrent condition is detected, it can be controlled to turn off the power or load switch, or to output with a limited current.
